Milan are set to initiate a move for Stuttgart marksman Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window heading into the second half of the 2023/24 Serie A campaign.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rossonerri are eager to enter full pursuit for the 27-year-old after contract negotiations stalled between the player and his current club due to Guirassy not willing to remove the current release clause of โฌ17m.
Whilst Milan have been monitoring Guirassy for several months and the Milanese club facing stiff competition with Premier League outfits for the โฌ40m Lille striker Jonathan David, the Rossonerri are prepared to intensify talks with Guirassy and plot a move for the Bundesliga star as they feel that the release clause hands them a significant boost.
So far this season,ย Guirassy has been in scintillating form,ย attaining 16 goals and one assist in 13 games-played in the Bundesliga.
In the case that the Rossonerri are unable to complete the signing of Guirassy, Milan are monitoring Montpellier forward Akor Adams.
