Milan to look at Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić if Sandro Tonali leaves

Milan will look to sign Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić if Sandro Tonali departs the club this summer.

In England, it has been reported that Newcastle Utd and Milan are close to reaching an agreement for Tonali and while the claims have been dismissed in Italy, it does seem as if a new offer has been made and work is being done in this regard.

La Repubblica today state that Milan will not deprive themselves of Tonali unless they get a fee of €80 million from Newcastle. But if the Italian does leave, Milan have plans to move for Milinković-Savić. And they will make an approach of €25 million to €30 million for the Serbian.

Lazio will have to sell the midfielder this summer as his contract runs out in the summer of 2024 and the Serbian does not intend to renew his deal. Milan want to make sure that the sale of one of the best young talents in Europe is followed by the signature of someone who has been linked with some major clubs across Europe.
