Milan’s Mike Maignan wants to make return against Tottenham

Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is aiming to return to action for the club in the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Tottenham.

Sky Italia have reported that Maignan has undergone new medical tests on his muscle injury on the left leg and it revealed a timeline for his recovery. The Frenchman is expected to continue the recovery program before returning to the pitch.

The hope from the player and the club is that he returns on around the 14th of Feburary and that is when Milan will take on Spurs in the Champions League, as Antonio Conte will lock horns with the Rossoneri once again in his career. Maignan is keen on making sure that he does not miss that game and features in that.

For now, Cyprian Tatarusanu has been featuring between the sticks for Milan but the ex-Fiorentina man has been criticised for his performances, especially after Milan’s loss to Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana yesterday.
