The agent of Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo is currently in London in an attempt to hold talks with Tottenham, who are the Italian’s preferred destination right now.
It was reported yesterday that Zaniolo has now accepted that he will not renew his contract at Roma and has opened up to the idea of moving abroad. Roma would like around €40 million to sell him. Roma will only accept an offer which has an outright transfer or an initial loan with the obligation to buy him permanently.
Daniele Longo has reported that Zaniolo’s agent Claudio Vigorelli is in London to help his client secure a move this month and speak to Spurs. He could also speak to West Ham, who are also interested in the ex-Inter and Fiorentina youngster.
Spurs’ offer, it has been reported elsewhere, has only been that of an initial loan with the option to buy him permanently. That is not enough for Roma, as of now.
