Napoli approach close to signing Angers’ Azzedine Ounahi

Napoli are approaching close to signing Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi on a permanent basis.

While the Partenopei have been linked with a move for the Moroccan in recent days, Daniele Longo has now provided an update about the situation. The report states that Napoli are now close to meeting Angers’ demands for the midfielder.

Angers want a fee of €20 million to sell the Moroccan and Napoli are looking to sign him permanently this month and then loan him out to the French side and the player will return to the Maradona Stadium in the summer.

Napoli now want to accelerate the chase for the player, so that they beat competition from Leicester City and Lyon. Diego Demme is expected to leave this month, with Adama Demirspor having made an offer to sign him. Demme prefers heading back to the Bundesliga but the move to Turkey could yet happen and hand Napoli some finances.
