Napoli’s Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent weeks but the Partenopei have closed the door on that possibility.
La Repubblica today (via TMW) state something similar to what was reported in France a couple of days ago, as Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis had told Al Hilal that they would be paying a fee of €200 million for only one leg of the Nigerian, who has started the season in fine form.
Napoli have now closed the door on Osimhen’s possible exit to the Middle East, with the transfer window in Saudi still very much open and in full swing. Al Hilal had made attempts to land the striker and Osimhen’s compatriot Michael Emenalo, who is the current director of football of the Saudi Pro League, had publicly admitted that the league was trying to land the ex-Lille man.
But it now seems as if Osimhen will definitely stay at the club and there has already been talk of a new contract for him.
