Napoli could add Saudi Arabia release clause in new Victor Osimhen deal

Napoli could now add a specific Saudi Arabia release clause in their potential new deal for Victor Osimhen.

Corriere della Sera have provided some details about the situation of the Nigerian, who has attracted attention from the Middle East. An offer from Al-Hilal disrupted the initial momentum regarding a renewal, which now seems to be back on track.

Aurelio de Laurentiis has decided the contract offer and he will offer the player a wage of €8 million per season and it will have two release clauses instead of one. One will apply for clubs abroad and the other one will apply for clubs only in Saudi Arabia. This is done to make sure that the Partenopei are looking out for any big offers from Saudi clubs.

As things stand, Osimhen would like a higher salary than what Napoli are offering. He wants to double his current wage of €4.5 million per season. He is keen on staying at the Maradona for another season, with Rudi Garcia also having told him to stay for another campaign. De Laurentiis will not sell the player unless a club meets the price tag of €200 million.
