Napoli fans cause raucous outside Milan team hotel ahead of Champions League quarter-final

A host of Napoli fans caused a raucous outside the hotel in which the Milan team was staying, ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg.

Sky Italia state that last night, some Napoli fans tried their best to make sure that Milan players could not sleep through the night ahead of the second leg today. They used chants, horns and fireworks to disturb the sleep of the Rossoneri players and they did right outside the hotel where the Milan side is staying.

It is stated that they were outside the hotel till 3:30am and later returned at around 4:45am. For the players, it is stated, there was minimal disturbance and those who were staying at the front side of the hotel were more disturbed and could also smell gunpowder.

There were 150 Napoli fans present, it is reported. La Gazzetta dello Sport have further stated that the Partenopei fans used chants against Paolo Maldini, Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud. They also carried flags and made some pro-Victor Osimhen chants.
