Napoli ready offer for Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners

Serie A champions Napoli are ready to make an offer for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

La Gazzetta dello Sport today state that Napoli have now decided to move forward with a move for Koopmeiners and they are ready to put pressure on La Dea to sell the Dutchman. There is belief at Napoli that if Atalanta face a big offer, they would have to sell the midfielder.

Koopmeiners is someone Napoli have looked at for a while now and his name rose up the club’s shortlist over the last year, especially considering the uncertainty around the situation of Piotr Zielinski. Even though the Pole seems destined to stay, Koopmeiners is still someone that Napoli want and so does Rudi Garcia.

The Partenopei would be willing to spend over €30 million for the player, who wants to play in the Champions League and will be lured by the possibility of challenging for the Scudetto. If the two clubs find an agreement, Koopmeiners will be more than happy to join the Partenopei.
