Napoli picked up a compact 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, establishing themselves as a clear favourite to reach the next round.
While Victor Osimhen scored once and Giovanni di Lorenzo scored once, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia missed a penalty. But the Georgian still made an impact, as he came up with a brilliant back-heel assist for Di Lorenzo in the second half in a goal that proved vital for the Partenopei.
With that, Kvaratskhelia took his goal contributions tally in the Champions League to six, assisting four times and scoring twice. As per Opta, the Georgian is the youngest player in the competition this season to have contributed to a minimum of five goals in the Champions League at this point.
