Nicolo Zaniolo will not play for Roma in January amidst Premier League interest

Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo will not play for the Giallorossi when the January transfer window is going on.

It was recently reported that Zaniolo has decided not to be picked for the Roma squad against Spezia and Il Messaggero have now stated that the Italian will not play for the club in January at all.

Zaniolo did train with the team before the game even though he is not part of the squad but Jose Mourinho and the club have decided that it will remain the case till he either moves away or the January transfer window ends. He will also miss Roma’s game against Napoli, as a result.

The story between the two parties has come to an end already, the outlet claims. His agents and Tiago Pinto are finding the best solutions for a move but no convincing offers have arrived. Tottenham are certainly leading the pack but West Ham, Newcastle United, Brighton and Leeds are also interested in the Italian.
