No fresh injury concerns for Juventus’ Federico Chiesa after specialist visit

Juventus’ Federico Chiesa visited a specialist in Austria recently and he has received good news regarding his fitness.

The Italian had trudged off the pitch in the 17th minute of Juventus’ recent Serie A game against Inter and there were concerns about his knee, since he has only recovered from a long-term ACL injury that he had picked up over 12 months ago. He had also withdrawn from the

Sky Italia state that Chiesa’s visit to Professor Christian Fink in Austria was only a precautionary one, as he had his right knee examined. The tests right after he had picked up an injury against Inter didn’t reveal anything serious and Chiesa only wanted to consult Fink to more about the problem.

He wanted to seek reassurance and that is why he had travelled to Austria. Considering his recent injury records, it is only normal for him to seek advice.

Filip Kostić meanwhile, did pick up an injury on national duty for Serbia, but the issue does not seem to be serious by any means.
