French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has now extended his stay at Juventus.
Late on Sunday, rumours stated that Manchester United had made contact for Rabiot once again, having done so earlier in the summer and having come close to signing him last summer.
Rabiot’s contract was expiring at the end of this month but he has now officially signed a one-year extension with the Old Lady on the same terms as the previous contract. He will continue to earn €7 million per season.
United had agreed a fee with Juve last summer and just when the move was close, they couldn’t agree personal terms with the midfielder. Rabiot impressed last season and was one of Juve’s most important players in all competitions.
