OFFICIAL | Hamed Traore joins Bournemouth from Sassuolo on permanent deal

Hamad Traore has joined Premier League side Bournemouth on a permanent deal from Sassuolo on deadline day.

Yesterday, Gianluca di Marzio reported that Bournemouth were set to pay around €30 million for the services of the player, including bonuses. The 22-year-old Traore completed his medical on the South coast of England on Tuesday and then signed the paperworks to complete the move.

Bournemouth, who are 18th in the Premier League, began moving for Traore when Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo refused a move to the Cherries. Traore, the older brother of Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, has scored 18 goals and gave 11 assists in 111 games for Sassuolo. He can play as both left winger and attacking midfielder and missed a large portion of the season due to injury.

The Cherries have already signed another Serie A player in Matias Vina, who has joined the club from Roma on an initial loan deal with an option to buy him permanently in the summer.
