Milan have secured the services of Colombian goalkeeper Devis Vasquez on a permanent transfer.Â
Devis Vasquez is seen as a long-term player for the Rossoneri as the goalkeeper joins the Italian side which now has 4 goalies in the squad. He will take the last non-EU slot in the team and will be promoted within the ranks as the contracts of goalkeepers Antonio Mirante and Ciprian Tatarusanu are coming to an end.Â
The 24-year-old arrived in Milan early Monday to complete his medicals with Stefano Pioli’s team before signing his contract with the current Scudetto holders. He has arrived from Guarani, a Paraguayan team, for a fee of €500K but will be available for selection from January 10 as the player will return to his native country to complete some legal procedures.
First-choice goalkeeper Mike Maignan has been ruled out for most parts of the season and considering his next medical assessment, Milan will decide whether to go for any other goalkeeper. Â
