Milan have now signed English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a permanent basis from Premier League side Chelsea.
The midfielder had arrived in Milan yesterday and underwent his medical with the Rossoneri today, having signed his contract with the club once he successfully passed the physical tests.
The club have confirmed that Loftus-Cheek has signed on a permanent basis and he has signed a four-year deal at the Rossoneri. Milan will pay a fee of €16 million plus bonuses to Chelsea as part of the move, with Loftus-Cheek set to earn €4 million per season at the Rossoneri.
He now joins his former Chelsea teammate Fikayo Tomori at Milan, with their former Blues teammate Tammy Abraham currently at Roma and nursing a serious ACL injury.
Milan have already signed goalkeeper Marco Sportiello on a free transfer and are coming close to signing Loftus-Cheek’s former teammate Christian Pulisic from Chelsea as well. They also hold an interest in Valencia’s Yunus Musah.
