OFFICIAL | Roma sign Evan Ndicka

Roma have now confirmed the signing of French defender Evan Ndicka, who arrives after his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt had expired.

Ndicka had sealed the move to Roma last week but the move was waiting confirmation. The Giallorossi have now confirmed that he has joined the side and he has signed a contract till the summer of 2028.

This comes after Roma confirmed the signing of Houssem Aouar on a free transfer some weeks ago and while they were keen on Youri Tielemans, the Belgian has joined Aston Villa on a free transfer.

Ndicka came through the youth ranks at French cllub Auxerre before joining Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018. During his time in Germany, the Frenchman won the Europa League in 2022 and made a total of 134 Bundesliga appearances, during which he scored ten goals.

A left sided centre-back by trade, Ndicka would likely slot into the back three under Jose Mourinho and would strengthen the side, with Roger Ibanez being linked with a move away from the club and the Frenchman could replace him.
