PLAYER RATINGS | Milan 1-1 Salernitana

Milan made history as they did not field any Italian player in the starting line-up in a Serie A match for their first time in their history but it was a night to forget for the Rossoneri fans.

It was the second Serie A game in a row without a win for Milan as the Rossoneri draw 1-1 against Salernitana at San Siro in the last game of match day 26.

The Rossoneri could not take advantage of Inter, Roma and Lazioโ€™s missteps as they reached fourth place but are just one point ahead of the fifth place.

Olivier Giroudโ€™s header broke the deadlock in the first half stoppage time, a few moments after Mike Maignan saved the day by winning the ball with a tackle just outside the box when Boulaye Dia was in on goal.

The Senegalese got his revenge in the second-half when he turned Bradaricโ€™s low cross into Salernitanaโ€™s equalizer with a deflection past the French goalkeeper.

Milan believed to have a chance to win the game when the referee gave penalty for a soft foul on Ismael Bennacer, a decision which was then overturned by VAR.

There was a bit of bad luck too for the Rossoneri as Pierre Kalulu accidentally blocked Alessandro Florenziโ€™s deflection on the goal-line when Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa couldnโ€™t save it anymore.
