PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Fiorentina v Atalanta

A thrilling encounter is on the cards as a wounded Atalanta face an in-form Fiorentina in the race to qualify for Europe today at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to 15 games in a row across all competitions. Since losing to Juventus in February, the Viola haven’t looked back and have climbed thoroughly in the league standings while taking a firm grip in the Europa Conference League and Coppa Italia. In their last match, Fiorentina are currently three points from the European spaces but they will hope to aim higher and get a Europa League spot for next season.

Atalanta approach this match on the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Bologna who are estimated to target a European spot late in the campaign. La Dea have seen themselves cope with a shaky recent form and that has made them lose grip in order to feature in the Champions League for next season.

A win today would see them go level on points (51) with 5th-placed Inter who are vulnerable recently and manager Gian Piero Gasperini will hope to surpass them in the standings capitalising on the Nerazzurri’s woes.

Here are the predicted line-ups from Sky Italia:

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terraciano; Dodo, Milenkovic, Igor, Biraghi; Amrabat, Mandragora; Ikone, Bonaventura, Nico Gonzalez; Cabral.

Atalanta (3-4-1-2): Musso; Toloi, Demiral, Djimsiti; Zappacosta, de Roon, Scalvini, Maehle; Ederson; Boga, Hojlund.
