PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Inter v Juventus

Following the 1-1 stalemate from the first leg of the semi-finals, Inter and Juventus will aim to resume proceedings for a place in the finals of the Coppa Italia today at the San Siro.

Inter approach this match at the back of a resounding 3-0 victory over Empoli in the Serie A. Romelu Lukaku continued his return to top form after netting a brace and Lautaro Martinez put the cherry on the top in the final minutes of the match.

Last week, the Nerazzurri secured a place in the Champions League semi-finals where they will face neighbourhood rivals Milan in a derby encounter. Despite Benfica giving a scare, Simone Inzaghi’s men held their composure and responded to every question the Portuguese side threw at them. While Inter still has a long fight to prepare for to finish top four in the league, the Coppa Italia is firmly in their sights after clinching the Supercoppa Italiana earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Juventus will feel gutted for not celebrating their reinstatement of the points as they went down against league leaders Napoli in their last match. Giacomo Raspadori’s strike stood the difference as the Neapolitans further grasped the title. The Bianconeri will be pumped up after skyrocketing to 3rd place after showing signs of top mentality when the FIGC took away 15 points from their campaign which they now have back with them.

Following a drama in their last encounter, Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and Juventus’ Juan Cuadrado will remain suspended for the match. Romelu Lukaku was also suspended but he is cleared to play by the FIGC after an investigation to his controversial red card.

Here are the predicted line-ups from Sky Italia:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lautaro Martinez, Dzeko

Juventus (3-5-1-1): Perin; Bremer, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; De Sciglio, Rabiot, Locatelli, Miretti, Kostic; Di Maria; Chiesa
