PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Milan v Tottenham

Milan lock horns with English giants Tottenham, as the two sides stage a repeat of the 2010/11 Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

Both sides come into the game at the back of some inconsistent form. While Tottenham had beaten Manchester City, they recently took a 4-1 beating at the hands of Leicester City – an unexpected result considering how they seemed to have achieved an upturn in form from the City result.

Milan are in a similar situation. The win over Torino recently was their first triumph since the first week of January and during the poor period, they lost to Lecce, Lazio, Inter (twice) and also lost 5-2 to Sassuolo at home.

Rossoneri midfielder Ismael Bennacer has not featured in the last few games due to injury and Stefano Pioli has confirmed that the Algerian remains out, as he is not 100 percent despite having trained with the side recently. Milan have experimented with a 3-5-2 shape from the Inter game onwards and Sky Italia expect them to stick to that shape today, with Fikayo Tomori now back.

More importantly, Spurs will be without former Juventus man Rodrigo Bentancur not just in the game at San Siro but for the remainder of the campaign after he picked up a knee injury in the loss to Leicester.

Milan predicted line-up: Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Saelemakers, Tonali, Krunic, Hernandez; Giroud, Diaz, Leao

Tottenham predicted line-up: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Skipp, Sarr, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son
