Real Madrid hold meetings for RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol

Real Madrid have held meetings for a potential move for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.

Alfredo Pedulla‘s latest update about the situation of Gvardiol states that three clubs are keen on the defender and those are Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City. While Chelsea offered €80 million for the Croatian not too long ago, Real Madrid are the club that seem to be Gvardiol’s preferred destination.

They did offer more than what Chelsea put forward in the past but they have held meetings over the last 15 days for the defender. In the meetings, Real have promised to offer two installments of €60 million to Leipzig, making sure that the total transfer fee will be €120 million including bonuses.

Manchester City have also come forward for the player, but Gvardiol seems keen on heading to Real Madrid, for now. It is stated that he may be willing to earn less than Real, as compared to the €9 million that Chelsea were offering him in the past.

Leipzig, as it has been previously reported, have already identified Jakub Kiwior as a potential replacement for Gvardiol.
