Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham on whether he’s the best in the world: “I don’t know if I agree”

This evening Jude Bellingham picked up the Golden Boy award in Turin after a fantastic year.

As reported by TMW, he said: “Me as the strongest in the world? I am very pleased that it is said but I don’t know if I agree.”

It should be no surprise that people are calling him the best player in the world given his start to the season. In a Real Madrid team without the striker that they want and with many injuries, he has managed 11 league goals in 13 starts.

The most impressive part is that he is a midfielder and this is his first season for Los Blancos and he is still just 20 years old.

In the vote for the Golden Boy award, Bellingham received an astonishing 97% of the vote, surpassing Jamal Musiala, who finished second and Lamine Yamal, who rounded off the podium finishes.

The Englishman also has four goals and two assist in four Champions League games and was the star man against Napoli last week.
