Roma pushing to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Renato Sanches

Roma are currently pushing to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that with Roma having sealed four signings already this summer, their next goal is to strengthen their midfield. And Sanches has now emerged as a key target for the heart of the park.

Roma and PSG have been in contact recently and the Giallorossi have also spoken to Sanches about the possibility of a move. PSG would have to open up to the possibility of letting Sanches leave on loan for Roma to have a chance of landing the Portuguese and if they do open up to the possibility, the move can quickly make progress.

Sanches was heavily linked with a move to Milan last summer but he ended up joining Paris Saint-Germain, where he hasn’t been used too regularly so far. If the move to Roma does go through, he would unite with compatriots Jose Mourinho and sporting director Tiago Pinto, who are close to the player’s agent Jorge Mendes.
