Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo set to fly to Turkey ahead of Galatasaray move

Roma outcast Nicolo Zaniolo is now set to join Galatasaray and he will fly to Istanbul today in order to complete the move from the Giallorossi.

Zaniolo’s situation has been a hot topic over the last month and due to how he ended up staying at Roma and even skipped training, Roma excluded him from their technical project. Gala though, are now close to ending Zaniolo’s misery and sign him on a permanent basis.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Italian will travel to Istanbul today, if everything goes to plan with the rest of the paperwork.

He will have a €35m release clause in his current contract and he will sign a four-year-long deal with the Giallorossi, with Roma set to earn about €20 million to €22 million from the sale of the forward. He will earn €3.5 million per season during his time at the club.

Alfredo Pedulla has already reported that his release clause could be active in the summer and Zaniolo’s agent Claudio Vigorelli will be in Rome today to lay down the final pieces of the move.
