Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala set to feature for Roma against Empoli

Jose Mourinho is set to have Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala together in Roma’s match against Empoli after the international break.

According to a report by Il Messaggero, Paulo Dybala has overcome the adductor muscle issue and is now back in training in Trigoria. Romelu Lukaku is expected to return from the Belgium international break camp fully revitalized and with La Joya, he seems set to start the match versus Empoli.

With Tammy Abraham out injured, Roma decided to sign Lukaku to partner with Dybala in attack. Jose Mourinho’s plan is to play them together as much as possible but he is also aware that both are injury-prone.

The Belgian striker will aim to reclaim his glorious days in the Serie A this season and help the Giallorossi challenge for the Scudetto by forming a lethal duo with the World Cup-winning Argentine. By blending Lukaku’s physique with Dybala’s experience and creativity, Jose Mourinho expects to create one of the best-attacking partnerships in the league this season.
