Saudi Arabia have now increased their offer for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Giovanni Albanese has confirmed what was reported earlier while adding more information, stating that while Al-Ahli are interested in the Frenchman, Al-Ittihad are also keen. He didn’t just visit Al-Ittihad’s training facilities, but was also at Al-Ahli’s training facilities.
The first offer from Saudi was of €100 million across a three-year deal but a new offer has arrived and it stands at €150 million over the same three-year deal. The Football Federation in Saudi takes care of transfers and that is why it is them who has put forward the offer, not the clubs in question.
It is stated that while Pogba wants to redeem himself at Juve, huge offers could change his mind. It remains to be seen if the new offer can make him change his decision regarding a Bianconeri stay. Both Karim Benzema and NGolo Kante are also trying to make sure that their compatriot comes to the Middle East.
