Southampton are interested in signing Lecce midfielder Morten Hjulmand and are ready to make an offer for the player.
Hjulmand is one of Lecce’s most important players and the Dane has previously been linked with a host of other Italian clubs as well.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the midfielder has attracted interest from a fair amount of teams and one of them is Southampton, who are now ready to put forward €11 million this month. The offer is considered to be rather important but Salernitana are currently not keen on selling the player. But it is yet to be ascertained if the move will go forward or not because of Lecce’s wishes right now.
The 23-year-old has made 16 appearances in Serie A this season and in total, he has played 76 times for the club since he joined the club in the summer of 2021. Inter have previously been linked with him.
