Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has made up his mind to leave the Bundesliga club amidst interest from Napoli.
Daniele Longo has reported that Napoli’s hopes of signing Kevin Danso are fading away, with the defender now inching towards signing a new deal with Lens. As a result, Napoli want to now concentrate on signing Mavropanos, who has now decided to leave Stuttgart.
The German club want a fee of €18m and €20m for the Greek defender, whose agents have already been in contact with the Partenopei but there is still some distance for an agreement to be reached.
Napoli believe that they see an opening from Stuttgart’s end and are progressing slowly, because they have been informed of interest from two clubs in England. If Napoli do not make progress on the front for the Greek defender, they will move for Maxence Lacroix.
