Théo Hernandez considering Milan exit after Paolo Maldini’s sacking

Milan full-back Théo Hernandez is said to be rather unhappy about the club’s decision to sack Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara and he could now consider his future at the Rossoneri.

La Repubblica have reported about the chaos at the Rossoneri, stating that Gerry Cardinale avoided coming to the Milanello today and even avoided a farewell to the retiring Zlatan Ibrahimović. He wanted to have an urgent meeting with Maldini about his future and it lasted 35 minutes, with differences emerging over Stefano Pioli’s position and the budget available.

Maldini and Massara want a higher budget than €50 million to compete with the bigger European sides. While the duo is now leaving the club, the decision has left multiple players unhappy and that includes Hernandez, Mike Maignan and even Rafael Leão.

The Portuguese believes that if Maldini was to leave, he would have never signed a new deal. Hernandez, in fact, could now decide to leave and is considering his future. Mike Maignan’s future will now be in doubt and his renewal could become uncertain, with Chelsea interested in him.
