Tottenham considering January swoop for Juventus talent Samuel Iling-Junior

Juventus youngster Samuel Illing-Junior is garnering fresh interest from the Premier League.

That’s according to Miguel Delaney of The Independent, who, on Monday, has provided an update on the future of the gifted wide-man.

Iling-Junior, for his part, has endured something of a hit-and-miss campaign to date, remaining on the fringes of Massimiliano Allegri’s squad at the Allianz Stadium.

The 20-year-old remains behind the likes of Filip Kostic and Andrea Cambiaso in the pecking order on the flanks in Turin, giving rise to just 113 minutes of Serie A action across the season to date.

Iling-Junior, though, remains held in high regard across the continent, in particular in his home country of England.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of interest in his signature beginning to mount once more ahead of the January transfer window.

As per the aforementioned Miguel Delaney, the powers that be at Tottenham Hotspur have identified Iling-Junior as a prime winter target.

The Lilywhites are desperate to add further depth to a paper-thin squad under the watch of Ange Postecoglou, with the England youth international fitting the bill of a versatile up-and-coming talent with room for growth.

Juventus, for their part, are keen to keep hold of Iling-Junior, but a January move should not be ruled out, with the two clubs boasting a ‘good business relationship’.
