Victor Osimhen unlikely to sign new Napoli deal

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is unlikely to sign a new deal with Napoli, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2025.

Il Mattino today have written about Osimhenโ€™s future at the Partenopei. Yesterday, Osimhenโ€™s agent Roberto Calenda asked club owner Aurelio de Laurentiis to take stock of the situation of the Nigerian. He has made it clear to Napoli that he has two offers โ€“ one from Chelsea and one from Paris Saint-Germain.

It is time for Napoli to assess the situation, especially considering that Osimhen has expressed his desire to not sign a new deal at the club, with his current contract expiring in the summer of 2025. This will help him leave the club next summer at a lower fee and he will not be held ransom by the club, who could ask for a huge amount even next summer if he ends up renewing the current contract.

For Napoli, it will be very difficult to refuse a huge offer and they are already looking at some names. One of them is Salernitanaโ€™s Boulaye Dia, who impressed in Serie A this season.
