Walter Mazzarri accepts six-month deal from Napoli

Former Cagliari and Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has accepted a six-month contract from Napoli.

Rudi Garcia will soon leave Napoli and initially, it seemed as if Igor Tudor was destined to take over as the manager. But things might be changing but a final decision is yet to be made.

Gianluca di Marzio had reported that a meeting with Mazzarri was about to take place but Sky Italia now bring about an update about the same. They state that Aurelio de Laurentiis is keen and determined to bring Mazzarri back as manager at Napoli, with Tudor waiting for the decision.

Mazzarri has, in fact, accepted the proposal of a six-month contract, with no other options about his future around. These are vital hours, when it comes to who will be the next Napoli manager. Mazzarri, as of now, wouldn’t even want an extension after the six-month deal expires and he has a great relationship with De Laurentiis.

As Tudor waits, Napoli will making a final decision soon.
