Ajax move for Jordan Henderson amidst Juventus interest

Ajax remain keen on a move for Jordan Henderson, amidst interest from Juventus.

Henderson has been offered to multiple clubs across Europe, as his time in Saudi Arabia comes to an abrupt end. La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) have provided more details about the situation of the England international.

Juve have been offered the chance to sign the midfielder on an 18-month loan deal and the Bianconeri believe that he would be an important addition because of his age and experience, and also because they need more depth in midfield. As of now, Cristiano Guintoli has no intention of agreeing to pay the same salary as what Henderson earns in Saudi Arabia.

Juve are willing to offer a wage of €1.5 million per season and they want to insert an option to buy at the end of the loan deal. Meanwhile Ajax have already come forward for the ex-Liverpool captain and have made an attempt from their end. There is no concrete interest from the Premier League, but it remains to be seen if any club in England comes forward.

For now, it seems like a battle between Juve and Ajax.
