Lautaro Martinez-Marcus Thuram duo keep firing in Inter’s win over Monza

Inter striking duo Lautaro Martinez-Marcus Thuram lit up the scene once again in the club’s 5-1 win over Monza in the Serie A.

The Nerazzurri increased the gap between themselves and second placed Juventus with the win over Raffaele Palladino’s side, as they are now five points clear at the top of the table. Hakan Calhanoglu got a brace, with one goal being a penalty. Martinez also got a brace, scoring a penalty. Marcus Thuram rounded up the game with his goal, making it five for the day.

But the duo of Martinez and Thuram rose to the top again. In Serie A, Thuram has contributed to 18 goals in 20 games. In all competitions, his tally stands at 20 in 27 games in all competitions.

Martinez meanwhile, has 18 Serie A goals and has also racked up two assists for the club. In the Champions League, he has two goals and it has been a brilliant season for the Argentine.
