Dusan Vlahovic has been in superb form in the Serie A in recent weeks, but the stats aren’t looking positive for him ahead of the gigantic tie involving Juventus and Inter.
The title rivals take on each other in the Derby D’Italia tomorrow, with Inter currently one point clear at the top with a game in hand. Juve’s recent draw against Empoli had seen the Nerazzurri go clear at the top after a tight win over Fiorentina. A win for Juve could take them 2 points clear, but a win for Inter will take them four points clear with a game in hand.
It would be a game that Juve just do not have to lose. Vlahovic has scored seven times in six games in recent weeks. But the Serbian has never scored at San Siro, which is an alarming stat ahead of the game. The 24-year-old has never found the back of the net against Milan and Inter away from home, having played against them nine times at the San Siro.
While he has never scored at the home of the Milan clubs, he has been on the winning side four times, losing four times and drawing once. This record is something he would look to change on Sunday.
