Antonio Conte reveals he wants to return to management soon

Former Tottenham and Inter boss Antonio Conte has revealed that he is keen on returning to management soon.

Conte hasnโ€™t been in a managerial role since his sack from Tottenham and reports have suggested that he has rejected moves from Napoli, but Milan want the Italian as their next manager after Stefano Pioliโ€™s exit.

Conte recently spoke to The Telegraph about his career so far, his stint at Tottenham, how he has evolved as a manager and what the future looks like for him. He revealed that he wants to win a Champions League title and he is full of energy to return to management.

โ€œMy father pushed me to return quickly, but it is important to recharge, physically and mentally. Now my only problem is I have too much energy and Iโ€™m annoying my wife!โ€

โ€œHonestly, Iโ€™d like to lift the Champions League as a manager one day. But I know this is very difficult. People think this is simple, but you have to stay in the right club, a club that matches your ambition, a club that is ready to make the final step to win the Champions League. Look at Manchester City. Seven years, no?ย

โ€œIโ€™d like to give this joy to my father. He said to me โ€˜I want to see you lift the Champions Leagueโ€™. Itโ€™s not simple, but everyone can have a dream.โ€

It has been reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is leading the demand for Milan to hire Conte next season, but it could prove to be a challenge for the Rossoneri. Napoli have been rejected twice as Conte wanted to remain on a sabbatical and stay with his family. It remains to be seen where he ends up but it does seem as if he is keen to return.
