Premier League side Aston Villa are pressing in their attempts to land Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso.
The Spanish defender is about to leave the Spanish side in the summer transfer, with his contract at the club about to expire and he has already, through his agent, expressed interest in moving to Italy. His agent has stated that Napoli would be a rather welcome destination for him.
Daniele Longo has reported about Hermosoโs future, stating that Juventus did enquire about the Atleti man but have decided to move for Bolognaโs Riccardo Calafiori. Hermosoโs wage demands are likely to be too much for both Inter and Napoli, meaning that a move to Italy remains complicated.
In the meantime, Aston Villa are trying to sign the player. They are trying to press hard for the signature of the player and the move doesnโt seem to be too complicated for the Premier League side. Hermoso has received offers from Saudi Arabia as well but as of now, his future seems to be going away from Italy.
