Serie A side Atalanta are now considering a move for Fiorentina winger Nico Gonzalez this summer.
La Dea have already signed Nicolo Zaniolo to bolster their frontline and are pursuing the signing of Celticโs Matt OโRiley as well.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that this isnโt where Atalantaโs business would end and they are looking at Gonzalez as a potential target. Advanced discussions are taking place at La Dea about the Argentine, even though there has been no contact between the two clubs yet.
The move will not be an easy one at all and depends largely on whether Fiorentina open up to the possibility of a sale. Gonzalez could seek an exit this summer, with his contract running out in the summer of 2028 and he is looking for a potential change of air.
He was Fiorentinaโs highest goalscorer last season and he is now more than just an idea in Bergamo.
