Barcelona and Atletico Madrid keen on Roma’s Paulo Dybala

Roma star and Serie A icon Paulo Dybala has attracted keen attention from Spanish giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

La Joya will be featuring for Roma against Brighton in the Europa League later today and how the rest of the season pans out could be vital to his future at the club. Daniele Longo has reported that Dybala is very much keen to continue his journey at the club and the Friedkins are soon expected to ramp up talks about a new deal as well.

Tiago Pinto’s exit did slow down talks about a renewal, but talks are expected to resume soon. It could soon become a priority, also because clubs are keeping tabs on the Argentine largely because of his performances and his cheap release clause.

The Spanish press had reported about Barcelona’s interest and Longo has confirmed it, also stating that even Atletico Madrid are keen on the Argentine. The capital city side is said to be ‘particularly’ keen, but they would have to pay the release clause of €13 million in the summer as it will be active for a month.

Roma could use interest from other clubs to ramp up the process of handing him a new deal, or they could lose him for a limited sum in the summer.
