Fiorentina make contact for Roma’s Andrea Belotti

Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in the possibility of signing Roma striker Andrea Belotti and have made contact for the player.

Belotti has not managed to establish himself as a regular in the Roma first-team and he isn’t a regular even this season, with Romelu Lukaku donning that role in the absence of Tammy Abraham.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Fiorentina made contact with Roma for Belotti earlier today, as they look to add a striker. La Viola want to sign the Italian on a loan deal and the player is currently interested in a move to the Tuscan outfit, but the move is said to hinge on the situation of M’Bala Nzola.

The summer signing has struggled to fit in at the club and has not established himself as a regular, having joined from Spezia. His exit could increase the chances of Belotti arriving, as Fiorentina would be without a striking option.
