Frosinone chief confirms mounting interest in Juventus’ Matias Soulé

Guido Angelozzi, director at Serie A outfit Frosinone, has provided a fresh insight into the future of on-loan Juventus talent Matias Soulé.

The name of wide-man Soulé has of course taken its place centre stage in the Italian football headlines across the season to date.

This comes with the Argentine, long regarded as one of the finest breakthrough talents on the books of Juventus, having exploded into life in a temporary stint away from Turin.

Since linking up with the aforementioned Frosinone last summer, Soulé has taken on a leading role, on his way to a head-turning haul of 10 goals and two assists across 21 appearances.

Such stellar production, in turn, has led to inevitable speculation surrounding the future of the 20-year-old, who has been named as a target for a whole host of clubs across the continent.

Speaking to the media on Friday night, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Soulé’s future was put to Frosinone director Guido Angelozzi.

And the Canarini chief was not at all shy in confirming that interest in the attacker’s services is indeed beginning to mount.

As cited by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Angelozzi revealed that:

“Clubs from England, France and Spain are in attendance on [a] regular basis to keep [a] close eye on Matias Soulé.”

He also went on to hint, though, that Soulé’s future could yet lie with his parent club:

“I think he can be part of Juventus squad, he’s very talented. He has rejected huge proposal from Saudi in January”.
