Inter v Juventus stat which promises an exciting Derby D’Italia today

The Serie A will witness a gigantic clash later today, as Juventus take on Inter at the San Siro in a game which could prove vital for the title race.

The Bianconeri currently find themselves one point behind Inter in the table, with the draw against Empoli seeing them drop points when Fiorentina lost 1-0 to Inter. A loss for the Bianconeri could man that Inter go four points clear at the top, while having a game in hand.

The previous game involving the two sides ended in a draw but history suggests that it is unlikely that there would be another one. Sky Italia state that the Derby D’Italia hasn’t been drawn twice in the same season since the 2001/02 campaign, when the first game ended in a goalless draw and the second one later in the season ended in a 2-2 draw, as the Old Lady won the title.

This bodes well for the game today and there is hope that there would be goals, with both Dusan Vlahovic and Lautaro Martinez in form.
