Inter’s Stefano Sensi nearing move to Leicester City

Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is now nearing a move to Championship side Leicester City.

The Foxes have been linked with a move for the midfielder for many days now, with manager Enzo Maresca keen on the player and it seems as if the move is close to going through.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that there is now an agreement between the two clubs, with Leicester having agreed to pay 2 million and the payment of that is related to how much the Italian plays and the Foxes’ potential promotion to the Premier League this season.

It will be a permanent move and the fee is considerably low because Sensi’s Inter contract expires in the summer. Having said that, the move will not go through right away because Leicester have to move on some player soon. The club’s manager Enzo Maresca has already confirmed that, stating that they need to sell players before landing the former Sassuolo man.

While Sensi has been troubled by injuries since joining Inter, he had a fruitful loan stint at Monza last season where he played 30 times in all competitions.
