Juventus interested in Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat

Serie A giants Juventus are interested in the possibility of signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina once he returns from his loan stint at Manchester United.

La Gazzetta dello Sport today state that unless things take a dramatic turn, Amrabat will return to Fiorentina at the end of the season and there is a feeling that he ‘misses’ Italy. United also don’t seem willing to buy the Moroccan permanently and while Amrabat will return to Fiorentina, he will likely be sold as his contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2025.

Juve did hold talks in the summer but couldn’t go too far, but relations with Fiorentina remain excellent and the Arthur loan deal shows that. Amrabat happens to be an ‘old obsession’ of Cristiano Guintoli and while Teun Koopmeiners is the main target, the Bianconeri might need more midfield signings depending on whether Adrien Rabiot departs and question marks also exist around Weston McKennie’s future.

And if there is a need for more midfield signings, Amrabat will be a concrete option.
