Juventus reject chance to sign Jordan Henderson

Serie A giants Juventus have rejected the chance to land former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

There is talk of the fact that Henderson wants to depart Al-Ettifaq after only six months of played in the Middle East and has asked his agents to look for a new club.

TuttoJuve’s Mirko di Natale has confirmed that, stating that the Englishman also offered himself to Juventus, but the Bianconeri rejected the approach straightaway. This comes after the midfielder was linked with a move to multiple clubs and that includes Ajax and Chelsea.

The Bianconeri have been linked with midfield signings this month and while Kalvin Phillips was linked with the Old Lady, it doesn’t seem as if the England international will be joining. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also seemed to be a target but Spurs’ demands for a move don’t seem to match how much Juve want to pay.

Elsewhere, the club seem to have sealed a move for Lille’s Tiago Djalo, who will arrive this month.
