Juventus scouted Lazio’s Felipe Anderson against Bayern Munich

Serie A giants Juventus scouted Lazio winger Felipe Anderson in the club’s recent Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.

The Bianconeri have been linked with a move for the Brazilian, despite it being reported that there is still a chance of him signing a renewal with Lazio. La Gazzetta dello Sport today have added some information to Juve’s chase for the winger, who has previously played for West Ham.

Juve sporting director Giovanni Manna recently watched Lazio beat Bayern Munich at the Stadio Olimpico and he kept a close eye on Anderson, who impressed in the 1-0 win. The idea was to see Anderson from upclose in a tough game and it went well, as positive notes were made by the Old Lady.

Anderson is seen as a possible replacement for Federico Chiesa, contract talks for whom are underway. Another name that is being eyed is Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson, but Anderson is currently expected to be available on a free transfer in the summer but the likelihood is that they would look to close a deal for the player later, only if their valuation matches what the player wants.
