Juventus scouted Lazioโ€™s Felipe Anderson against Bayern Munich

Serie A giants Juventus scouted Lazio winger Felipe Anderson in the clubโ€™s recent Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.

The Bianconeri have been linked with a move for the Brazilian, despite it being reported that there is still a chance of him signing a renewal with Lazio. La Gazzetta dello Sport today have added some information to Juveโ€™s chase for the winger, who has previously played for West Ham.

Juve sporting director Giovanni Manna recently watched Lazio beat Bayern Munich at the Stadio Olimpico and he kept a close eye on Anderson, who impressed in the 1-0 win. The idea was to see Anderson from upclose in a tough game and it went well, as positive notes were made by the Old Lady.

Anderson is seen as a possible replacement for Federico Chiesa, contract talks for whom are underway. Another name that is being eyed is Genoaโ€™s Albert Gudmundsson, but Anderson is currently expected to be available on a free transfer in the summer but the likelihood is that they would look to close a deal for the player later, only if their valuation matches what the player wants.
