Juventus unsure about Federico Chiesa’s future at the club

Serie A giants Juventus are currently unsure and uncertain about the future of club star Federico Chiesa.

The Italian’s current deal at Juve expires in the summer of 2025 and there has been talk about a new deal. La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the situation of the ex-Fiorentina man, whose entourage reached out to Juve to hold talks about a new deal but talks about a renewal are far from simple right now.

Chiesa earns €5 million per season at the club in his current deal. For Juve, a renewal would solve two issues. They would be able to ammortise his wages for longer and would also keep him at the club for longer. But Chiesa’s performances in the last few months concern Juve. He wasn’t great against Udinese recently and his fitness issues concern them.

Kenan Yildiz’s rise to prominence and Chiesa’s form and injuries could convince Juve to sell the Italian, whose future is being considered. There is also a feeling that Chiesa has become a stranger to Max Allegri’s system and he doesn’t fit it anymore.
