Lazio fans slam manager Maurizio Sarri and owner Claudio Lotito

Lazio fans have been left seething at the club after their recent Serie A thrashing at the hands of Lazio, as they expressed their anger at manager Maurizio Sarri and owner Claudio Lotito.

The Roman side lost 3-1 to Atalanta yesterday, as Lazio’s hopes of finishing inside the top four were dented rather strongly. They are now ninth in the Serie A table, five points behind fourth-placed Atalanta, but two points ahead of tenth-placed Torino and they are at risk of falling outside the top ten.

Lazio fans were left angry at the result and they made their voices heard using banners near Formello, as banners were displayed outside the training centre at night.

One banner described Lotito as an ‘outcast’, also refering to Sarri as his ‘little slave’. Another banner also mocked Lotito and was aimed at his son Enrico, asking the younger Lotito to ‘kick out’ his father from the club, as per La Lazio Siamo Noi. The banners were signed off by the club’s Ultras Group.
