Lazio working to sign Fluminense’s Alexsander this summer

Lazio have started working on their summer market and are progressing to agree a move with Fluminense for Alexsander.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are in talks with Fluminense to secure the services of midfielder Alexsander during the summer. They have started negotiations early to avert any unexpected competition from any other top European side. The Brazilian outfits are not looking to sell their player this month and therefore will only be open to let him go during the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old played an influential role in Fluminense’s Copa Libertadores winning campaign as they beat Boca Juniors in the final. He made 35 appearances last season while making his debut in the Club World Cup final against Manchester City.

Alexsander is considered amongst the best midfielders in the Tricolor Flu Fluzão’s squad right now but he is yet to make his debut after being called up several times by the Brazil U-20 side.
